Danish Linguistic Validation and Cultural Adaptation of the LIMB-Q Kids

(1) Background: Lower Limb deformities include many conditions where pain and physical limitations negatively impact the health-related quality of life (HRQL) children. The ideal way to assess this is by using a Patient Reported Outcome Measure (PROM). Such condition-specific PROM under development, called LIMB-Q Kids. This study aimed perform translation cultural adaption (TCA) Kids for use in Danish-speaking (2) Methods: TCA guidelines established World Health Organization (WHO) Professional Society Economics Outcomes Research (ISPOR) were followed. process consisted two independent forward translations, reconciliation meeting, backward with an assessment, expert cognitive interviews patients, editing based on interviews, proofreading. (3) Results: contributed Danish version meeting resulted reconciled version. revision led 16 corrections, after panel 26 changes made. Twelve nine changes, which validated further interviews. Proofreading no comments. (4) Conclusions: linguistically culturally adapted being used international field test study.
